The Good and the best from the lights of quran

 

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

(يا مقلب القلوب والأبصار يا مدبّر الليل والنهار، يا محول الحول والأحوال، حوّل حالنا إلى أحسن حال).

Indeed the world is full of complications, in it the beauty and the hideous resides, the light and darkness, the good and the bad, the right and the wrong, the night and days, knowledge and ignorance, the guided one and the unguided, and so on.   

The good is literally all the delight and desired, that which brings happiness and cheerfulness, you cherish and look up to it, this is divided: the good that comes from the brain which is also called the logical good and the good that is by the creator which is called the legal good. And the third is the good that is based on ones fantasy and the forth is the good that is based on the physical senses, (hasanah) is derived from (husn) it is all  the favor and blessings which human beings receive in his life, and the bad opposes it, they are from different species and each specie has its own individuals, lions, horses and human being are from the same specie but human being has it classes, like the rich and the poor and at the same time contains different individuals like Zaid and Umar.

Some of the examples of good is mentioned in the holy Qur’an ﴿وَإِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ حَسَنَةٌ يَقُولُوا هَذِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ﴾

﴿وَإِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ﴾  ﴿مَا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنْ اللَّهِ﴾ ﴿وَمَا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ سَيِّئَةٍ﴾ and the main differences between (Husn, Hasanah, and Husnah) is, HUSN is used in physical actions. And same goes for HASANAH if it’s a description and not in physical actions, Husn is more common in the midst of people and for physical goods or what people see as good, it is said: a good Man (hasan) and a good woman (hasanah) most that came in the Qur’an concerning the Good is about the insight and vision and that which is understand by the brain, for example   ﴿الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ﴾ leaving that which you have doubts on ﴿وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْناً﴾ all that is good ﴿وَوَصَّيْنَا الإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْناً﴾ ﴿قُلْ هَلْ تَتَربَّصُونَ بِنَا إِلاَّ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ﴾.

Goodness can also be of two types: first, grace and favor towards others, as it is said in some occasions: do good to so so person, and the second, doing good in your activities. And that is when someone knows something that is good or does something that is good, Imam Ali said: (الناس أبناء ما يحسنون) literally, people are levelled or regarded base on their actions and that which they do from good, kindness is superior to grace, God Almighty said: ﴿إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لأَنفُسِكُمْ﴾ ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالإِحْسَانِ﴾، kindness is also upper to justice, thus justice, is giving something what it deserves without addition or subtraction but kindness is giving something more than it deserves, and in return receives what it is lower than it deserves,  it is part of generosity and hospitality, kindness is in addition to justice, justice is an obligation but kindness is voluntary and recommended, there is a saying from the Almighty: ﴿وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِيناً مِمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ﴾(وأدام إليه بإحسان) ﴿وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ﴾﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ﴾ ﴿مَا عَلَى الْمُحْسِنِينَ مِنْ سَبِيلٍ﴾ ﴿لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ﴾.

 

The Good that is from the totally skeptical aspects, from the sensitive lights, like the brightness of the sun and the lights of the candle, and what is in between the two in the light ranking, in some context of the qur’an HUSN has been used and the other AL’ AHSAN, it is from the preferences and ranking that cannot          be counted, kindness is from the nature, attributes and actions of Allah. And because of that God create his creatures and he bless it with his kindness, and he asks the worshipper to be kind to others too. In the aspects of AHSAN, Allah says:   ﴿ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَاهُ خَلْقاً آخَرَ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ﴾ ﴿صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً﴾ ﴿نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ الْقَصَصِ﴾ ﴿وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ﴾ ﴿وَلا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلاَّ جِئْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيراً﴾ ﴿اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ﴾ ﴿لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ﴾

And also orders his worshippers with kindness and grace, Allah says: 1 ـ ﴿وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُمْ بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا﴾ 2 ـ ﴿وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِيناً مِمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ﴾. 3 ـ ﴿الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَاةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً﴾. 4 ـ ﴿وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ﴾. 5 ـ ﴿وَلا تَقْرَبُوا مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ﴾. 6 ـ ﴿وَقُلْ لِعِبَادِي يَقُولُوا الَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ﴾. 7ـ ﴿وَلا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ﴾. 8 ـ ﴿وَاتَّبِعُوا أَحْسَنَ مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ﴾. 9 ـ ﴿ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ﴾. 10ـ ﴿إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى الأَرْضِ زِينَةً لَهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً﴾. 11ـ ﴿فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِي *الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ﴾.

This is just a tip from the abundant kindness of Allah from the Holy Qur’an, and from other explanations and tafsir of quran verses we can rely on the readers smartness and cultural background, you read and think then search that which is the best from everything and then work on that goodness you found, and you should know that the good is justice and it is the obligatory and the doing the better is recommended too, a man does the better willingly and for God’s mercy and love,  Salat is complete with it rules and regulations from the likes of goods and better, by doing the recommended and leaving the detestable, salat is better to be done in group but individually done is good too, the best is in congregational prayers rather than individually done,  and that is the same in other acts of worship and good deeds. And you should run towards the forgiveness of your Lord and Paradise is as wide as the heavens and the earth, and God's guidance and wisdom and Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the world.
